  1. *******Before installing please make backup of your doom.wad*******
  2.  
  3. To install Smiley v1.0 unzip the file smile.zip using the -d option
  4. in your doom dir!
  5.                       YOU MUST USE THE -d OPTION!!
  6.      ********   i.e.  c:\doom> pkunzip c:\temp\smile -d   ********
  7.                                                
  8. This will create a sub-dir named newstuff.
  9. The only files that will be added to your doom dir are:
  10.  
  11.                 dmgraph.exe
  12.                 smlygo.bat
  13.                 smlystop.bat
  14.                 editors.exe
  15.  
  16. To run Smiley type smlygo at the c:\doom> prompt and the new graphics 
  17. will be installed!  
  18.  
  19. There will be a dir made during install called oldstuff this will be
  20. deleted along with all other Smiley files listed above by typing smlystop
  21. at the c:\doom> prompt!  If you don't have v6.0 or greater of dos then you
  22. will need to remove the dirs oldstuff and newstuff yourself!!
